A female body is found in a lodging house in Jiangcheng, and through investigative visits, the police confirm the deceased as a trainee doctor of the provincial hospital, Tongxiang. In the process of solving the case, Xu Kai, the captain of serious crimes, discovers that the parents of Lu Ting, who is also a police officer, are involved in the case.
